Ashland's Casey Synder ended a scoreless game in the 74th minute and followed with another goal in the final minute of play. The Tritons landed eight of their 14 shots on goal, while the Eagles had six shots on goal. Senior Mary Behrmann collected four saves, playing all 90 minutes between the posts for UMSL. Junior AJ Brewer led the Tritons with four shots, landing one on goal, while junior Danielle Dahm took three shots, landing all three on goal. Junior Amy Fox finished with two shots, both on goal. Krista Herbst recorded eight saves in the goalie position for Ashland.
